Quick Apply Full-time 8 hours ago Full Job Description Medical Billing Office Administrative Assistant - On Site Dalton, Georgia The position requires employee to physically report to work at our office in Dalton, GA.
This IS NOT a remote position and will never turn into one.
Supervisor will coordinate with Candidate to determine daily hours worked Monday through Friday.
The position requires employee to have past experience in medical billing and above average working knowledge and use of Excel.
Employee will log daily bank EFT deposit amounts into Excel and then balance payment amount posted in the billing system to the bank amounts.
Employee will either themselves obtain missing EOBs or alert others that EOBs need to be obtained.
Position requires that employee have past knowledge and experience navigating insurance portals in order to obtain EOBs and/or research unpaid patient accounts.
Position may require employee to retrieve medical records, attach, and submit on outstanding claims.
Previous accounting and payroll experience preferred.
Employee may assist with processing client payrolls.
Employee will assist with other general billing office administrative duties.
Candidate must possess excellent professional oral and written skills, and attention to detail with numbers.
