Summary:
The Account Manager role is primarily responsible for all sales activities within assigned accounts and to develop new accounts in target segments.
They are to manage the entire sales process, which includes ensuring the quality and consistency of the goods being delivered and the service to the customers always meets or exceeds expectations.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients Preparing projections and possible job leads to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made Follow up on new leads and referrals Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contacts Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships Identify and resolve client concerns Communicate with management the status of pending leads, jobs and other activities of interest Communicate new product and service opportunities to customers Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to lift 15 pounds Job Type:
