2K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago IT Helpdesk Technician Job Description Responsibilities Monitors systems and coordinate with IS and Operations to address issues Evaluates complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support groups for resolution Active Directory administration Works on Support Desk related tasks and projects as assigned by supervisor Using tools and problem solving skills, determine, diagnose and solve computer-related issues Provides on-call support as scheduled during non-business hours Logs and documents trouble-shooting steps taken, and solutions applied, in a manner consistent with current knowledgebase practices Communicates with end-users to provide status updates and follow-up to ensure satisfaction Requirements Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong client-facing and teamwork skills This position requires handling confidential information in an appropriate manner.
End user interactions must be handled with diplomacy and tact.
Individual must be able to gauge the customer's technical ability and communicate with them inappropriate technical or non-technical language in a non-condescending manner Knowledge of Chadwick system is a plus Familiarity with BMC Track-It is a plus Strong desire to work with technologies in networking, software and security Job Type:
