The Director or Sourcing Quality & Compliance is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing Shaw's Responsible Sourcing Program strategy.
The position requires strong collaboration with key business functions to integrate responsible sourcing requirements with procurement decisions to mitigate supply chain risk ensuring continuous flow of products.
This position works with Shaw's global supplier community to ensure compliance with Shaw's Global Supplier Code of Conduct and supplier / sub-supplier mapping / material visibility tracking & traceability program.
The Director or Sourcing Quality & Compliance also partners with Shaw's Integrated Supply Chain, Global Sourcing, Sustainability & Innovation, and General Counsel to facilitate policy development and overall governance of environmental, social, and governance initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains and on-going cadence of compliance with suppliers and due diligence in partnership with Global Sourcing Partners with the Integrated Supply Chain to advance the skills and behaviors for scenario planning Develop and implement policies and standard operating procedures used in risk & resiliency, responsible sourcing, and supply chain ESG compliance and auditing activities (supplier code of conduct, UN global compact, sustainable sourcing policy, etc.
) Oversee the communication of Shaw's expectations to our business and supply chain partners Oversee responsible sourcing supplier training programs and determine opportunities for enhancements Monitor responsible sourcing compliance performance across the supply chain and oversee remediation of immediate risks Partner with supply chain and procurement to implement compliance strategies and mitigate risks Co-manage partnerships with third-party service providers, Shaw sourcing, and Shaw's business units Represent Shaw in responsible sourcing industry groups and bring back subject matter to help shape Shaw's strategies and programs Oversee responsible sourcing compliance review of all critical supplier evaluations Facilitate supplier remediation/corrective action plans Determine evaluation ratings of supplier compliance Work with 3rd party monitoring services and provide recommendations regarding monitoring activities and cadence Conduct responsible sourcing compliance risk assessments Work laterally across the organization Able to manage segregation of duties, compliance vs.
supplier relationships, pricing vs.
quality, etc.
Finished products for resale focused Oversees the individuals responsible for supplier diversity, sustainable sourcing, and sourcing compliance Attend staff meetings within the legal, enterprise excellence, sustainability, and integrated supply chain to stay embedded within the business and clear on priorities Education Bachelor's, or master's, degree in business administration, Environmental Science, Social Responsibility, or related field.
