Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain positive business relationships both internally and externally to promote company goals.
Follow standard procedures and/or written instructions to perform job duties.
Research claims to determine appropriate action for claim resolution based on warranty, inspection report, lab results, input from dealer, etc.
Research chargebacks and disputed invoices resulting in an appropriate resolution.
Correspond with sales team to resolve replacement claims and allowances.
Assist the Credit Department in resolving issues that could potentially prohibit the shipment of non-claims related orders.
Responsible for entering all faxes, e-mail and called-in claims with attention given to each request in a timely manner.
Liaison for dealers and sales representatives in determining a resolve and follow up on pending claims.
Work with Quality Control on defect resolution.
Work with independent testing lab to verify claim, with follow-up to dealer upon completion with findings.
Schedule independent inspections with follow-up to the dealer upon completion with findings.
Schedule return authorizations with dealer, carrier or warehouses.
Correspond with carrier regarding damaged or lost freight claims; communicate with dealer to discuss resolve (material to be accepted or refused).
Required Skills
3-5 years of carpet claims experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of 3 years responsible specific work experience
Knowledge of the carpet manufacturing process.
Knowledge of Customer Service functions as it pertains to resolution of claims.
Working knowledge of computers/AS400 system as well as Word and Excel.
Accurate data entry skills
Interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines and processing standards.
Present a positive and professional image on behalf of the organization.
Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and time management.
Possess the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
