Electrical Technician II Memofil Facility

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Reads, draws, and understands schematics and maintenance manuals
Troubleshoots and establishes, install wire, conduit, relay, motor starter for the load.
Will be installing low voltage VAC such as lighting, fans, heating equipment, etc..
Designs, builds, wires, programs and troubleshoots basic control panels.
Understands and Troubleshoots 600 Volt and less equipment.
Installs AC/DC drives, Field instrumentation including Pressure, Temperature and Process Controllers.
Design, build, and install basic control systems (Heat control, Motor Control, Speed Control, and Time Control Circuits).
Uses the computer to upload and download programs to various types of AC drives and controls.
Installs and troubleshoots PLCs.
Will be working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Must be able to work call ins and any overtime required.
Calibrates electronic equipment within the facility.
Upgrades existing equipment with new technology
Other duties as assigned by management

Supervision Received
Receives direction and Leadership from the Electrical Manager within the facility.

Job Qualifications

2-5 year technical certification and or degree preferred.
Must able to perform all duties of an Electrical Technician Level I.
Excellent Communication skills and have a strong willingness to be part of a team
Excellent Job performance.
Must have a positive attitude.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to comply with all company rules and regulations which include Beaulieu policies, OSHA, NFPA 70E and NEC.
Must have an excellent safety record.
Stick welding is preferred
Strong mechanical background which should include working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Should be able to wire 3 phase and single phase motors.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
