Summary:
Helps to develop and lead the Commercial Product Strategy throughout the product lifecycle. The Manager/Director of Commercial Product Management is the product and market expert for Commercial Carpet. Title and compensation based on experience level & skill set.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Summary:
Thoroughly understand the competitive landscape including product, pricing, and promotion
Responsible/Accountable for the P&L of assigned product line(s)
Analyze and Oversee sales, operating profit, and promotional spend for assigned product line(s)
Conducts business analysis on existing product lines and future introductions
Writes business case and marketing plan for all future introductions
Maintains relationships with sales team and helps to resolve customer issues
Develops and implements pricing strategy and maintains price sheets
Develops and maintains customer relationships and stays Connected to the market
Coordinates with Marketing to develop training materials for new products
Identifies product line gaps and works with R&D to develop products to fill gaps
Acts as a communication vehicle between R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing
Supervision Received: Minimal Supervision from the Senior Director of PM
Authority and Accountabilities: Accountable to the Sr. Director and above, as well as internal and external customers.
Work Environment: Office Environment

Qualifications:
Training/Education/License/Certification/Registrations/Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree Required, Further Education a Plus
Strong Business and Financial Acumen
Exemplary leadership skills with integrity, credibility, personal accountability, and self-management skills
Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
Experience Minimum Requirements:
10 Years progressive leadership experience in Product Management, Product Development, or a related field. Carpet, Flooring, or Textile experience preferred.
Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
